Sri Vivekananda Mobile Hospital extends medical help at the doorstep of the dwellers in Visakha slums. With the help and cooperation of the Vanavasi Kalyanasramam: this mobile hospital conducts its medical help operations in and around Araku and Paderu, diagnoses, prescribes medicines treats patients, and moves serious patients to the City Centre Hospital for better treatment and nursing care
During Natural Calamities
Vivekananda Hospital has plunged into action in relief work and medical
help during calamities in the region. The Medical Trust which runs
the hospital participated in the relief operations during the floods to
the Sarada at Anakapalli in 1977 and to the cyclone victims of
Odisha in 2000. Many medical teams of the Trust camped at various places in our neighboring state for many days to provide medical relief work and distribution of free medicines.
